Laminate is versatile and easy to maintain, making it a great choice for almost anywhere in your home.

Laminate is a durable flooring systems. It can stand up to the heavy traffic of a living room, the non-stop action of a kids room and even the occasional dropped spoon in the kitchen.  The reinforced top wear layer provides protection from stains and dirt while offering resistance to surface moisture and wear.  This makes it an excellent choice for entryways and hallways that suffer from a constant barrage of dirty feet. The wear layer even provides UV protection to prevent fading from prolonged exposure to sunlight, making it a great choice for rooms with large windows.

With a few minor exceptions, such as carpet, laminate can be installed over almost any existing, structurally sound floor. And as long as a moisture barrier is in place and water prevention measures are taken, it can also be installed at any grade. Certain special considerations may be needed when installing laminate in a kitchen or bathroom to avoid any water-related issues. Simply consult your installation guidelines when considering laminate installation in these areas or talk to you flooring retailer.
